How commercial relationships will be handled.
This website is pre-launch. If affiliate links are used in future, they will be identified clearly near the relevant recommendation or comparison.
What an affiliate link means
An affiliate link may allow the publisher to receive a commission if a visitor chooses to buy or sign up through that link. The visitor does not pay an extra charge because of the link.
Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships will not be presented as proof that a tool is suitable for every reader. Comparisons will explain relevant criteria, limitations and who may wish to investigate a product further.
Merchant responsibility
Customers contract with the merchant. The merchant is responsible for billing, delivery, refunds, account support and technical support. UK Digital Tools Research will not collect customer payments or handle merchant support cases.
