Quick answer
Albato’s self-serve pricing has two parts: a plan controls the way you work and the features available, while a monthly transaction package controls usage. On the public pricing page, Free is $0 with 100 transactions; Pro with 1,000 transactions is shown at $22 per month on monthly billing or $15 per month as the annual-billing equivalent. Teams is marked “Coming soon” and is shown from $93 per month monthly or $65 per month on annual billing, starting at 5,000 transactions. Custom is quote-based.[1]
These are US-dollar list prices, not guaranteed sterling totals. A UK buyer should check the billing currency, tax treatment and final charge at checkout rather than converting the headline number alone.
What counts as a transaction?
Albato defines a transaction as a successfully completed automation step that moves or changes data. The trigger—the first step—does not consume a transaction; counting starts with the second step. A three-step flow with one trigger and two successful actions therefore uses two transactions for each item processed. Batches are counted for each item and each chargeable step, so volume can rise faster than the number of automation runs suggests.[3]
Estimate usage as: items processed × successful chargeable steps. Then allow headroom for branching, repeated items and growth. Albato AI has a separate conversion within the same transaction model: its help page says one transaction is charged for every 2,000 response tokens, rounded up.[5]

This is the simplest option for learning the builder or testing a very small two-step workflow. The short automation and log limits matter as much as the 100-transaction allowance.[1]
Pro — $22 monthly or $15/month on annual billing at 1,000 transactions
- Unlimited active automations and steps, with transaction packages selectable from 1,000 up to 2 million on the public page.
- Includes features the comparison page does not list for Free, including custom webhook/API access, Albato AI, AI Agents, data migration, auto replay and parallel scenario execution.
- One team seat, 30-day log storage and a 5-minute automation update interval.
- Automatic purchase of extra transactions is available.
The $15 figure is the site’s displayed monthly equivalent when annual billing is selected; it should not be read as confirmation that only $15 will be charged each month. Check the full annual total and payment schedule before authorising payment.[1]
Teams — shown as coming soon
- Displayed from $93 monthly or $65/month on annual billing, with 5,000 transactions.
- Adds 5 team seats, roles and invitations, shared workspaces/projects, priority support and a 3-minute update interval.
- Albato still labels this plan “Coming soon”, so do not base a purchase decision on it until the option is actually available in your account.
Albato’s pricing-model update describes Teams as the collaborative option for colleagues or client work, while Pro is the individual-work option.[1][2]
Custom — contact Albato
Custom offers flexible transaction limits and is the public option for advanced requirements. Albato lists custom solutions and integrations, a dedicated customer success manager, agreement/SLA support, 60-day logs and a 1-minute update interval. Pricing and contract terms require a quote.[1]
Monthly versus annual billing
The public selector advertises savings of up to 30% with annual billing. At the entry transaction levels shown above, $15 is 30% below $22 after rounding, and $65 is about 30% below $93. The word “up to” matters: do not assume every transaction package receives exactly the same reduction.[1]
Before choosing annual billing, verify the total due now, renewal date, renewal price, cancellation/refund terms and whether changing the transaction package restarts a billing period. Albato’s pricing update says that changing a package mid-period cancels the current package, activates the new one and starts a new billing period from the update date.[2]
Free plan and trial: they are not the same
Free is a restricted plan. Separately, the current Pro card and Albato’s pricing-update article describe a 7-day Pro trial with access to platform features and up to 100 transactions.[1][2]
There is an inconsistency on Albato’s own pricing page: its visible Pro plan copy says 7 days, while FAQ structured text on the same page refers to a 14-day trial. Treat 7 days as the safer published expectation and confirm the actual duration, transaction allowance, card requirement and conversion date on the sign-up screen before starting.
What happens when the allowance runs out?
On paid self-serve usage, Albato says automations can continue by automatically buying blocks of 100 extra transactions when a bank card is linked or the account has enough balance. Unused automatically purchased transactions carry into the next billing period. If neither a linked card nor enough balance is available, automations pause until payment is completed.[2]
Albato says automatically purchased transactions cost 50% more than transactions included in the selected package. At the 1,000-transaction Pro setting, the public comparison currently displays an extra-transaction cost of $0.0330, but the rate can vary with the package. Alerts are intended to appear as the limit approaches and when extra usage starts. Treat overage as continuity cover, not as a substitute for choosing an appropriate package.[1][2]
UK price, VAT and exchange-rate checks
Albato’s public page presents the prices above in US dollars and does not state a universal UK VAT-inclusive total beside them. The amount a UK customer pays can therefore differ from a simple USD-to-GBP conversion.
- Confirm whether checkout stays in USD or offers GBP.
- Look for a separate VAT or tax line and enter the correct legal name, billing address and VAT details, if applicable.
- If charged in USD, check the card provider’s exchange rate and any foreign-currency fee.
- Record the sterling amount actually charged for bookkeeping rather than using the headline dollar figure.
- For an invoice, Albato says legal entities can contact its support team; verify the supplier identity, tax details, currency and payment terms on the invoice.[1]

20% referral discount and affiliate disclosure
Albato’s current official affiliate page says an affiliate link can offer 20% off the first payment of any plan through an exclusive coupon. Because the discount is controlled by Albato, verify that the coupon or 20% reduction is visibly applied to the correct first payment before completing checkout; do not assume it will combine with annual pricing or any other promotion.[4]
